Why reauthorize the Children’s Services Council of Palm Beach County on November 4th? Check out the list below to answer that question.
The Children’s Services Council of Palm Beach County works with over 77,000 children and families every year making sure our kids grow up healthy, safe and strong.
The Children’s Services Council funds more than 50 proven programs delivered through a network of over 35 providers including the Children’s Home Society, Early Learning Coalition, United Way, the Urban League, the Food Bank of Palm Beach County, and more than 300 child care and afterschool programs.
The Children’s Services Council in Palm Beach County provides programs and services for our kids including:
Early childhood education, literacy programs, nearly 120 after-school and summer programs and over 200 thousand free books for local school children.
Developmental programs for young children with special physical, emotional, or developmental needs.
Scholarships for 17,000 children to receive child care and after-school care.
Developmental and health programs for babies, expectant mothers, family strengthening, and family support programs.
Programs for child safety and drowning prevention.
One (1) in three (3) children in Palm Beach County receive services funded by the Children’s Services Council. We need to ensure the Children’s Services Council continues to provide the services that help our kids grow up healthy, safe and strong.
